The Christ Church building

The Christ Church building was completed in February 2008, replacing the Hall and Scout Hut that had previously stood on the site for several decades. It was purpose-built to be as useful as possible to the wider community as well as the church.

In these pages you can find out about:

Also on offer is a photo tour of the building, though it's much better to come and see the real thing!

Visitors can find information about our location, car parking etc here.

Using the building

The building is used for numerous regular events: Toddler Club, Coffee Mates, Messy Church, MP and councillor surgeries, Scout and Guide sessions, tea dances and many more, as well as Christ Church Sunday services, weddings and funerals.

More occasional events include comedy evenings, drama and concerts, quiz nights, fundraising events and much more.

We continue to develop the building - for instance, by the installation of acoustic tiling - and to acquire more equipment to add to its usefulness.

Sorry that because the building is in such demand we are no longer able to accept room bookings for private parties.
