Lunch Club

Caring and catering

The Christ Church Lunch Club provides friendship, community and a quality hot meal for a group of over 20 older people each week. It is run by a team of helpers under the leadership of Phil and Beryl Ennis.

The Lunch Club has been running for many years and former leader Jeanne Glenn oversaw two changes of venue. Meeting the Club's needs was a major priority in the design and equipment of our kitchen and we continue to upgrade the facilities as funding permits.

As well as running the regular weekly sessions the Lunch Club team host the annual Community Christmas Lunch and organise fund-raising events and social visits to other venues.
