The day of the Great Birmingham Run began with heavy showers but the sun was coming out by the time the race started. Christ Church members and friends were there to encourage the runners, provide hospitality for spectators and take part in the race.
A team of leaders from Anglican churches in Bolivia spent a busy 3 weeks in Birmingham. We heard their stories, learned more about the opportunities and needs of the churches there and celebrated the faith that binds us together across the continents.
On a few days each August, when most regular activities take a break, we open our building to provide play, company, crafts and more for adults and children. It’s a great opportunity for people of all ages to find company and enjoy the activities, whatever the weather.
