Great Birmingham Run 2014

High fives for a passing runner

There was music, cheering, applause and food for runners and spectators as the Great Birmingham Run passed our front door on a sunny Sunday morning in October.

A huge crowd of runners coming down Selly Park Road

What a crowd: The view from Pershore Road as the faster runners headed out through Selly Park

Spectators at the bottom of Selly Park Road

As well as supporting the runners many of us were trying to spot friends in the crowd

A runner approaching Christ Church

After completing the outward leg through Stirchley and Bournville the runners returned past Christ Church

A jazz band

There was a jazz band outside Christ Church, and we provided music at other points along Pershore Road
